Amos Florer, 67, of Decatur died Feb. 8, 1998, at her home. She was born Oct. 21, 1930, in Falling Springs to Earl and Merle Barnes Amos. She was a housewife and a member of the Baptist Church in Decatur. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herb Florer in 1991. Survivors include her mother of Siloam Springs; two sons and daughters-in- law, Douglas Florer and Karen of Gentry and Neal Florer and Teena of Fayetteville; two daughters, Faye Aldridge and Anita Jo Cooper, both of Springdale; two brothers, Gerald Amos of Colcord, Okla., and Nelson Amos of Gentry; three sisters, Ruth Box of Fayetteville, Elsie Carmical of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Arlene Renner of Bow Legs, Okla.; nine grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Baptist Church in Decatur with the Rev. Terry Eaton and Dr. John Terry officiating. Burial will be in Falling Springs Cemetery under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
