SALUS - 

Pearl Garland, 90, of Salus died Nov. 26, 1997, at her home. She
was born in Union to Samual and Jane Brittham Moore. She was postmistress
at Salus for 38 years and was a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Oscar Garland; one son.
Survivors include two daughters, Ola Charlene Baugus of Salus and Sidney
Singleton of North Little Rock; one son, Fred Garland of Rogers; 15
grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
Services were Nov. 29 at Roller-Cox Funeral Home in Clarksville with the
Rev. Jack Ramsey officiating. Burial was in Rosetta Cemetery in Ozone.
Pallbearers were Denny Garland, Mike Garland, John Baugus, James Baugus,
Brandon Vaughn and Jeffery Baugus.
Honorary pallbearers will be James Garland, Mikey Baugus and Jonathan
Baugus.
