Heal - Funeral Friday P.M. Funeral services for Lucas P. Heal, who died Wednesday evening at the home of Mrs. Rebecca Lane, East Rock Street, will be held at Moore's Chapel Friday afternoon at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. N. M. Ragland. Mr. Heal was 90 years of age and born in Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, who were born in Ireland. He was a member of the 66th Illinois regiment of infantry in the Civil War. Survivors are a son, William Earl Heal; and 2 daughters, Mrs. Mary Alice Walker of Muskogee, OK, and Mrs. Stella Folsom of Westville, OK, and numerous grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth (Bettie) Beach Heal and his second wife, Francis Bales Heal. Internment will be in National Cemetery with pallbearers expected to be selected from members of the American Legion Post.
