Mrs. Mary Jane Hughes, 101; of Springdale, died 8 November in a
Fayetteville nursing home. Born 15 October 1878, in Springdale; she was the
daughter of John and Sarah Jane (Luper) Maxey and was a member of the
Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ina Thompson of Lincoln and Mrs. Ada
Harris of Springdale; 12 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 43 great
great grandchildren and 2 great, great, great grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Nelson Funeral Home,
Fayetteville. Burial will be in Stuckey Cemetery.
