She was born Feb 20, 1940, in Boston to Oscar Oran Spears and Ida Mae Lewis Spears Keen. She was employed for the past seven years as an animal caregiver at the Fayetteville Animal Shelter. She was a former Cub Scout den mother and a Girl Scout troop leader. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvil Edward Hutchens Sr; one son Arvil Edward Hutchens Jr, one daughter, Victoria Mae Hutchens. Survivors include one son, Charles Hutchens and wife Becky of Elkins; one daughter Chelle Hutchens of goshen; one brother Paul Kirkpatrick Jr of Fayetteville; seven sisters, Mary Fritz of Fayetteville, Marie Lackey of Lowell, Lou Morais of Fayetteville, Roberta Johnson of Pettigrew, Lena Rose of Ozark, MO, Wilma simmons of Marshall, Minn; seven grandchildren. Services were held Feb 5 at the whitehouse Community Church, with burial in Woolsey Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Chapel and Crematory.
