She was born Dec. 10, 1924 in Wheeler, the daughter of Robert Bruce and Marguerite Rudolph Maxwell. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Ozark Mountain Decorative Artists. She had owned and operated a craft business, "The Owl's Nest", for a number of years. She was a graduate of University High School and attended the University of Arkansas. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Gibbs. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Kenneth of Fayetteville; a son, Kenneth R. Ivey,Jr. and his wife Paula of Fayetteville; a daughter, Connie Hayes of Fayetteville, a son-in-law, Melvin Gibbs of Houston, Texas; five grandsons; four granddaughters; one great-grandson; four great-granddaughters. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville. The Rev. Don Eubanks will officiate. The family will greet friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at Moore's In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oakland Cemetery, c/o Jane K.
