Jack, 86, died this morning at 1:50 at her home in Mt. Comfort neighborhood. She was born Aug. 18, 1850, in that vicinity and had lived there all her life. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at Mount Comfort church with Rev. George Pond officiating. Pallbearers will be Bob Gantz, Guy Taylor, J. W. Jack, Walter Jack, Norman Shipley and Will Pond. The body will rest at the Nelson-Savage funeral home until 1 p.m. Saturday when it will be taken to the church awaiting the funeral hour. Mrs. Jack was married in 1868 to D. R. Jack who died in 1920. Her only daughter, Mrs. Lillie Paul died Feb. 4 this year, her son-in-law, John B. Paul, died Jan. 1, and her grandson, Ray Paul, on Jan. 13, making four deaths in this family in less than three months. Surviving are two grandsons, Floyd and Walker Paul and five great grand- children, all of Fayetteville. Mrs. Jack was a member of the Methodist Church at Double Springs. --------------------------------------
