All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************** Morning News of Northwest Arkansas February 8, 1998 FAYETTEVILLE – Wanda Lavon Stephens Mott, 70, of the Round Mountain community died Feb. 7, 1998, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born March 28, 1927, in Dustin, Okla., to Cradoe and Opal Brooks Stephens. She was a retired state employee of the Washington County Health Department, and a resident of the Round Mountain community for 37 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clell W. Mott, in 1977; one daughter. Survivors include two sons, Harlan M. Mott of Elkins and Russell Eugene Mott of the Round Mountain community; one daughter, Judith E. Guess of Siloam Springs; four brothers, William (Bill) Stephens of Weleetka, Okla., James Withrow and Robert Withrow, both of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Randy Withrow of Wellston, Okla.; one sister, Lurecy Pollock of Tehachapi, Calif.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Round Mountain Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jasper Hankins officiating. Burial will be in Round Mountain Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel of Fayetteville. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. ------------------------ FAYETTEVILLE – Wanda Lavon Mott, 70, of Fayetteville died Feb. 7, 1998, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.
