O'Neal, died Saturday afternoon at their home one and a half miles east of Springdale, of blood poisoning, having been ill only about a week. The remains were interred in the cemetery at Friendship Sunday morning at 10 o'clock, services being conducted by Eld. I. M. Phillips. Deceased was born near Fayetteville June 5, 1864, and united in marriage to Mr. O'Neal September 5, 1883. She made a profession of religion some eight years ago, uniting with the Baptist church at Friendship. She is survived by a husband and eight children, five daughters and three sons. Ruby, Maud O'Neal-Nail, Myrtle, Ernest, Guy, Bertha, Jewel and Jimmie. Her father, W. A. Jack, is also living and resides at Southwest City, Mo., and she has two half sisters at that place. She was a sister of I. E. Jack, of this place, and has two other brothers, Thomas Jack living near Fayetteville, and another at Danville, Yell County [Jacob "Jake" Jack], and two sisters, one living in Ozark [Martha J.] and the other [Mollie] in St. Louis. Deceased has resided in this locality all her life and was esteemed and respected by all. --------------------------------------
