ROGERS – 

James Madison Pender, 90, of Rogers died Feb. 1, 1998, at his
home. He was born May 14, 1907, in Laclede County, Mo., to Rubin H. and
Belle Pender. He worked for Rogers Ventilator Co. in Tulsa, Okla., before
retiring to Rogers and was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife,
Bessie Lawson Pender, on June 17, 1994.
Survivors include one son, Larry L. Jones of Rogers; one brother, Iva
Pender of Laquey, Mo.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Benton County Memorial
Park with Marvin Stephens officiating.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in
Rogers.
