Funeral Service Bulletin - April 6, 2009
Thomas Edward Smith, 81, of Elkins AR, died Friday, April 3, 2009.  He was 
born January 5, 1928 in Carter MO to Floyd Ernest and Zella Genevieve (Cumby) 
Smith.  He was preceded in death by his first wife, Faye (McChristian) Smith; 
and brother Norman Smith.  He is survived by his wife Betty Jo (Gates) Smith; 
children, Mike Smith of Elkins, David Smith and Nancy Zoeller of Fayetteville 
and Jane Vaught-Simmons of Wesley AR; step children Norman Lee Turner of 
Farmington AR, Mike Turner of Fayetteville, Richard Turner of Rescue CA, Cathy 
Leeper of Woodland CA, and Beverly Sikes of New Blaine AR; sister Carol Walker 
of Sunset CA; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 14 step grandchildren; 
20 step great-grandchildren.  Services held at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville, 
Monday April 6th at 2:00 p.m., burial following at McCord Cemetery in Elkins.
