COLCORD, Okla. – 

Frankie Alene Vause, 72, of Colcord died Jan. 31, 1998, at
her home. She was born April 26, 1925, and had been a resident of Colcord
since the early 1980s. She moved to Colcord from Houston, Texas, and was a
homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcus A. Vause, in
1990.
Survivors include her mother, Myrtle Vause of Colcord; one son, Mark Vause
of Tulsa, Okla.; one grandson, Blaine Vause of Catoosa, Okla.
Services will be at 10 p.m. Tuesday at Wasson Memorial Chapel in Siloam
Springs. Burial will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery near Gentry under
the direction of Wasson Funeral Home.
