BARLING – 

Dahlia P. Waters, 83, of Barling died Feb. 6, 1998, at Van Buren
Nursing Home. She was a retired seamstress and clerk for Springdale
Hardware and was a member of the Barling Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Lois Yocum of Barling and Betty Baker of
Pocohontas; one son, Earl Spain of Harlingen, Texas; nine grandchildren; 12
great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort
Smith. Burial will be in Oliver Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Richard Sears, James Sears, Sam Sears, Billy Yocum,
Dean Yocum and Mike Jacobs.
