All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************** Morning News of Northwest Arkansas February 5, 1998 SILOAM SPRINGS – Marian Arner Woodin, 86, of Siloam Springs died Feb. 3, 1998, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. She was born Sept. 11, 1911, in Chicago, Ill., to Arthur N. and Irene F. Warnes Bean. She moved to Siloam Springs in 1966. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Siloam Springs. She was preceded in death by her first husband, H.A. (Red) Arner, in February 1989. Survivors include her husband, Clifford C. Woodin of Clarion, Iowa; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Mark Arner and Sandy of Roanoke, Va., and Steve Arner and Colleen of Idaho Falls, Idaho; 13 grandchildren; three sisters, Barbara Akins of Siloam Springs, Harriett Hoot of Perry, Okla., and Margaret Piper of Tequesta, Fla. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steven Stall officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wasson Funeral Home of Siloam Springs. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, P.O.
