She was born December 8, 1865 near Searcy Arkansas, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Patterson. She was married to Jim Barber who preceded her in death and was later married to John C. Haney who survives. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Funeral services under the direction of Walter W. Raney, undertaker, were held at the home Saturday morning at 11:00 with Rev. A. N. Story, pastor of the Augusta Methodist Church in charge of the rites. Burial was in Augusta Memorial Cemetery. Other survivors than her husband are: two daughters, Mrs. Sid Stokes of McCrory and Mrs. Will Angel of Searcy; a son John Haney of the home; a step son, Leslie Haney; two step daughters Mrs. Perry Holland and Vernie Haney of Charlotte, NC; two brothers Milburn Patterson of Searcy and Jim Patterson of Texas, two sisters, Mrs. Will Dewberry of Searcy and Mrs. Galley Armstrong of Jonesboro. Deceased was a member of the Raney Burial Association. This was my wife's great grandmother. ************************************************************************
