MRS. G.H. DUFFY Arizona Republican Newspaper May 25, 1909 Mrs. G.H. Duffy was burned to death last night at her home in Johnson Addition, Bisbee, and friends attempting to rescue her were also badly burned. Her brother was carrying a can of gasoline and a lighted candle. When the gasoline caught fire the brother threw the can through an open door, striking the sister, who was entering. The woman suffered terribly for some hours before death came.
