RICHARD HAM Arizona Republican Newspaper July 16, 1901 The death of Richard Ham, which occurred in Bisbee on the 11th while not entirely unexpected in view of his condition for a few days previous yet caused quite a shock to his many friends and associates who had known him here and in Tombstone for many years and as he was not far advanced in years and ordinarily in good helath they had confidently clung to the hope of a favorable turn in his illness, which had lasted two weeks. At the time of his death he was in his fifty third year. He leaves a widow here and a daughter who is married and residing in New York. Mr. Ham had been a trusted and respected employee of the Copper Queen Company here since 1885, coming here from Tombstone, where he had been a resident for some years. He was a member of the Masonic order and his funeral was in charge of that order.
