MRS. HUNT Arizona Republican Newspaper July 5, 1909 The interesting case of Fannie King, an Apache who killed Mrs. Hunt, a sister of her own tribe, resulted in her conviction on the charge of manslaughter at Globe. Because of previous trouble Fannie King stabbed Mrs. Hunt in a quarrel. Fannie King did not realize the awfulness of her crime, even after hearing the verdict merely continuing her chatter with her sisters.
