News was brought to the sheriff's office in Tombstone 
of the finding of the body of a man in Sulphur Springs 
Valley, who had evidently been dead for a week or more.  
The remains were believed to be those of a cowboy named 
Dick Jones, woh was reported missing some weeks ago.  
Whether the unfortunate man was the victim of foul 
play or not could not be learned.
