JOHN McKINNON July 16, 1897 Word was received here yesterday of the death of John McKinnon in Mexico where he was engaged in the culture of coffee. No particulars of his death were received further than that it occurred about a week ago of brain fever. He was for a long time a resident of this county, he and his brother having formerly owned the Gladiator Mine. It was with the proceeds of that sale that he engaged in the coffee raising business in Mexico. He was in Prescott on a visit only a couple of months ago.
