MR. WHITNEY November 25, 1898 Mr. Whitney died suddenly on Wednesday evening. He was driving a team for William Sanders at Pearce. That evening three teams started for the Chircahuas for wood. Mr. Whitney was driving the middle team. When about three miles the last team came to the dead body lying in the middle of the road. He had fallen from the wagon and the horses had gone one. He had evidently burst a blood vessel as his body was lying in a pool of blood. His son was telegraphed for and arrived that night. On Thursday his body was taken to Willcox for burial. ************************************************** USGenWeb Project NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free information on the internet, data may be used by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material.
