MASON LOCKETT November 20, 1898 Mason Lockett, living two miles north of Flagstaff died last Sunday night. He had been ailing for quite a while but not seriously until about a week ago when he was taken very sick. He was born near Nashville, Tenn. on the 22nd day of Feb. 1817. He was converted to the Christian Religion and joined the church in 1863 and lived a consistent member of the church until his death. He had been a resident of this section for about seven years. He was a good neighbor, a kind husband and a good father. He leaves a wife and two sons, Joseph and Henry C. Lockett to mourn his death.
