MRS. DORA MARTIN August 8, 1897 Arizona Republican Newspaper Word reached here Monday morning that MRs. Dora Martin, wife of Theodore Martin, of Williams, had suicided by shooting herself in the head. A few minutes before her death she was playing in the yard with her 4 year old boy and went in and sat down with her husband at the supper table. After remaining there a few minutes, she got up and went into another room, picked up a revolver and shot herself through the head. No cause can be attributed why the unfortunate woman should commit such an act. She had her trunk packed and was aiming to start Monday morning on a visit to friends in the east. She was highly respected and well liked by all. She leaves a husband and a little boy 4 years old to murn her untimely death.
