RICHARD MURPHY November 1, 1898 Richard Murphy an employee of the railroad company died at the private hospital of Railway Surgeon Melick in Williams last Wednesday night. Murphy was working on a pipe line when he was suddenly seized with convulsions nad though carried to the hospital by his associates as quickly as possible one convulsion after another ensued until death came to his relief. He was a late arrival in Williams from Colorado hwere he was employed in a lead mine and his death was due to lead poisoning.
