THOMAS BLAKE Feb 23, 1896 Thomas Blake, an employee at the smelters of the Old Dominion Company at Globe was murdered at his work last Thursday by a Mexican named Antonio Nunez. The two had had a dispute and hours after Nunez came to the smelter and shot down his unarmed adversary. The murderer escaped to the hills and is still at large. He is about 30 years of age, weight 135 pounds and has lost the third finger of the left hand. He killed a man in Clifton in 1891.
