CHARLES H. CHAPMAN Arizona Silver Belt Nov. 26, 1892 Charles H. Chapman, a native of Connecticut in his forty seventh year died in Globe Nov. 21 and on the day succeeding was followed from the M.E. Church to the place of interment by a large concourse of friends. The deceased was one of Globe's exemplary citizens; faithful in his engagements; modest, without bashfulness; benevolent, without ostentation; sincere and honest as the sun. Mr. Chapman formerly resided in Silver City, New Mexico and in 1876 he was among the first to locate on the site where Globe now stands, and here he remained through seasons of varying prosperity and dullness and accumulated a modest competency and when life looked brightest an inscrutable Providence called him from his labors. He will be sorrowfully missed from his accustomed walks in life by a host of friends.
