On Tuesday, Oct. 24 Lucy, wife of Peter Giacoletto, died as 
the result of a severe nervous shock. She was in delicate 
health and when her husband was brought home from the O.D. 
Mine on a stretcher with his leg badly shattered as the 
result of a fall, she was prostrated by the shock to her 
nervous system and never rallied.  The funeral took place 
from the family residence this afternoon, services being 
at 1:30 pm in the Catholic Church.  Giacoletto is slowly 
recovering from his injuries but will be permanently crippled.
