JAMES GREEN Jan 19, 1893 The anouncement of the death of James Green, on Sunday last, was sorrowfully received by the friends of the family in Globe. The deceased had been an invalid for several years, never having fully recovered from injuries sustained by a fall of 35 feet in the king Mine, six years ago. Mr. Green was 56 years of age and a native of Ireland. For twenty three years he resided in Colorado and followed the business of mining with marked success. Prevous to the accident which disabled him, he was a man of robust physique and untiring energy. He leaves a wife and five children to mourn the loss of an affectionate husband and father. The funeral took place on Monday afternoon from the family residence where a large number of sympathizing friends assembled and joined the funeral train to the grave to pay a last sad tribute to the departed. January 21, 1893 Globe--James Green, one of the most highly respected citizens of Globe passed peacefully away on Sunday last after a lingering illness caused by injuries received from a fall in the Silver King Mine about six years ago. He leaves a wife and five children including two married daughters. The funeral took place from the family residence on Monday afternoon and was attended by a large number of sympathizing friends.
