A telegram from Kansas City, Kansas, to Mrs. F.L. Jones 
announces the death of her father, Steven M. Hare, at that 
place, November 20 of paralysis.  Deceased was a union soldier 
during the Civil War, 85 years of age at the time of his 
death.  He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. John 
Auchanpaugh of Kansas City; Mrs. M. Vanderhoof of San 
Francisco; Mrs. J.M. Vanderhoof of Darien, Wis.; and 
Mrs. F.L. Jones of Globe.  The body will be taken to 
Darien, Wis. for interment beside his wife who died in 1904.
