WILLIAM McMULLIN Arizona Silver Belt Sept. 26, 1891 Another fatal accident occurred in the Old Dominion Copper Mine last Saturday evening, William McMullen being killed by a cave-in in the fifth level stope. Death was instantaneous, almost a ton o ore falling upon the unfortunate man. It seems to have been one of those distressing casualties which sometimes happen in big mines without any blame attaching to anyone and it is deplored by one more than by the management. William McMullen was an experienced miner and a man of good character. His relatives who live at Manito, Illinois, were notified by telegram of his untimely death. The funeral took place on Sunday afternoon and was largely attended.
