John P. Nidezer Arizona Silver Belt October 17, 1891 John P. Nidezer, a miner, in a fit of despondency caused by sickness, suicided last Sunday in a room adjoining S. Van Wagmen's store. An attendant left him at 9 o'clock in the morning promising to return at 3 o'clock in the afternoon at which hour he was found dead with a bullet hole in his forehead, his arms crossed over his breast and a 28 calibre revolver in his right hand. The body was still warm. Acting Coroner George C. Strong held an inquest over the body and the jury rendered a verdict in accordance with the evidence. The funeral took place from the M.E. Church on Monday afternoon and was attended by many of the deceased's acquaintances. He had been a resident of Globe only a short time and was in the employ of the Old Dominoin Copper Co. He was known to some of the old timers, as he had prospected in this section years ago.
