MIKE O'SHEA Oct 19, 1905 Az Silver Belt One of the best known railroad conductors in the southwest was killed a few days ago by being crushed by his train at El Paso. He was Mike O'Shea, who ran a freight train on the Eastern division of the El Paso and Southwestern. He was a conductor on the El Paso division of the Rock Island for many years and had run trains on other roads in Texas and New Mexico. He was famous in railroad circles throughout the country for his ready wit. His witticisms have traveled all through the United States, and no railroad man visited El Paso without meeting Mike O'Shea in order to enjoy at first hand his inimitable wit.
