FRED PENDLETON Oct 19, 1905 Az Silver Belt Fred G .Pendleton died at his home in North Florence Monday October 9 of consumption. The remains were laid to rest in the Butte View Cemetery Tuesday afternoon. The funeral ceremonies were conducted by the Masonic Lodge of Florence of which order he was a member. Mr. Pendleton held an important and responsible position with the Lake Superior and Arizona Mining Company for several years and has had charge of the company's business here since they opened an office in Florence. Always a gentleman, courteous, kind and considerate of others, unmindful of his own sufferings, he won a warm place in the hearts of al who had the pleasure of knowing him. His young wife and relatives have the sincere sympathy of the community in their bereavement. Mr. Pendleton formerly resided in Globe where he had many warm friends. His death was not unlooked for as he had suffered from tuberculosis of the lungs for several years.
