CHU QUONG Nov 16, 1905 Az Silver Belt Chu Quong, a prominent member of the Chinese colony of Globe and one of the proprietors of the Tie Sang Restaurant, died last Friday evening after a protracted illness. Deceased was possessed of considerable wealth, being rated at $25,000 and the rites performed were in keeping with his position. The body was embalmed by F.L. Jones and after being robed in the finest of Chinese raiment, was enlcosed in a handsome plush casket. An elaborate service was performed. At the conslusion of the rites at the deceased's room on Push Street, the casket was placed in the hearse and driven to the cemetery, followed by a wagon loaded with the choicest cooked chicken, pork, rice, etc which were left within the burying ground and the hearse, bearing the corpse, was driven back to town and thence to the railroad depot followed by mourners in carriages and buggies. The remains were shipped to Hong Kong.
