Mr. Ross Arizona Silver Belt August 28, 1892 A.B. Ross, an old and respected citizen of Globe, died on Thursday afternoon at his residence in Globe. The deceased was a native of New York and came to Globe in 1880, induced chiefly by a hope that residence in this dry and invigorating climate would benefit his health. He was a sufferer from asthma, and there is no doubt that his life was greatly prolonged by coming here. Latterly his trouble was complicated by bright's disease which was the immediate cause of his death. Mr. Ross was a man of excellent education and attainments and a devout member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. He was well connected in New York, where his relatives are wealthy and influential people. He leaves a wife here for whom the greatest sympathy is felt. The funeral took place from St. Paul's m.E. Church yesterday and was largely attended.
