J.W. Smith Arizona Silver Belt February 27, 1892 J.W. Smith, a miner, who has been prospecting near Bloody Tanks the past eight months, was found dead in bed at Mrs. Green's lodgings, Thursday afternoon. Acting Coroner George Strong held an inquest on the body, and a postmortem examination by Dr. Collins revealed a congested and diseased condition of the stomach, liver, lungs and brain as a result of excessive alcohol. The verdict of the jury was that death resulted from heart failure.
