J.A. WINSLOW March 1, 1896 Globe: J.A. Winslow, the heweler, died of pneumonia at the hospital on Tuesday evening after a brief sickness. Deceased had been for years a sufferer from asthma and during the past few months had failed rapidly. His advanced age, 67 years, also told against him and though he received every attention, medical skill and good nursing were unavailing. His wife, residing at Phoenix, was apprised of his serious condition, and in expectation of her arrival on today's stage, the funeral was deferred and will take place at 2 o'clock this afternoon from the M.E. church. Mr. Winslow was an estimable citizen and his death is much regretted.
