ARTHUR MURRAY Arizona Republican Newspaper October 5, 1895 Albuquerque--Arthur Murray and bride arrived in this city a month ago last night from Bonita, Ariz having been married there on September 1. Last Tuesday he left his wife at the Arlington House, stating that he would return at 5 p.m. This morning his wife received a letter from her husband, stating that his dead body would be found in Room 12 of the Rachiebi Lodging House. Murray had cut his throat, severing the carotid artery and had also cut his left arm and leg. He left two letters to wife, enclosing a check for $410, drawn by E.A. Cutler, a merchant of Bonita, Ariz. He belonged to the A.OU.W. He assigned no reason for his rash deed, but his wife believes he had another wife in ST. Louis.
