WILLIAM RICHARDS, SR., FORMER RESIDENT, DIES IN CALIFORNIA JUNE 8

 Many of the older residents in the district learned with sorrow of the death 
of a former resident and friend, William Richards, senior, at his home in 
Puente, California, on June 8. The deceased left Morenci about twenty-three 
years ago with his family.
 Mrs. William Richards,Jr.,sister of Mrs. Karl Klaus, advised her of his death 
this week.
  Interment took place on June 10 in a Whittier cemetery. survivors include his 
widow and five sons.

To the right of this column in the same newspaper was listed the following 
under the title of "Sad News-
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Martin received word from Mrs. William Richards, Sr., this 
wweek of the death of her husband, William Richards at their home in Puente, 
Calif.
