MANY PIONEER RESIDENTS OF MORENCI AT FUNERAL

 Additional details concerning the death of William Richards, who died June 8 
at Puente, California, have been received by mail. 
 The funeral was from the White-Emerson Chapel in Whittier Calif. Saturday June 
10, with interment at beautiful Rose Hill cemetery in Whittier. Funeral 
services were attended by scores of friends and beautiful flowers were sent by 
friends and those who were unable to attend.
 The following former residents attended the services and funeral. Mr. and Mrs. 
Jack Christian. Mr. Clarence Williams. Mr. Morlay Roberts and Mother. Mrs. W.H. 
Williams and daughter. Mr. John H. Cutler. zmt. R.V. Allen. Mr. and 
Mrs.Tresise.Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Waters. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Williams and Mrs. 
Bessie Becker and family. surviving are his wife Bessie, and sons, William Jr., 
Frank, Thomas, Milton and Nelson, and a brother who resides at Puente, 
California.
 Mrs. William Richards Jr., is a daughter of the late Paul Becker, Mrs. Becker 
now lives in Los Angeles, pioneers of Morenci. The Becker Store at New Town, 
was a landmark until Mr. Becker died in Morenci and the family moved to Los 
Angeles except Mrs. Karl Klaus.
