SURPRISE, ARIZONA- 
Helen Eldora Wright, 84, died peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones, 
August 16, 2014, in Surprise, Arizona. She was born July 25, 1930 in 
Minneapolis to Casper and Kate Skjordal. On February 4, 1967, Helen married 
the love of her life, Ardo Wright from Bennett, Iowa. She was the owner of 
Helen's Stylette and loved camping, fishing, crochet hand work, square dancing 
and visiting family. 

Helen is survived by her devoted husband, Arlo Wright of Surprise; son-inlaw, 
Michael Ament, Lawrence, Michigan; son, Gary Meagher and wife, Ida Meagher, 
Hartford, Michigan; daughter-in-law, Barbara Wright, Bettendorf; daughter, 
Dawn Reich and husband, Paul Reich, Surprise; brother Jerry Skjordahl, Ames 
and sister, Patricia Gunderson and husband, Gary Gunderson, Wahkon, Minnesota. 
Helen has four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in 
death by her daughter, Linda Ament, Hartford and son Wayne Wright, Pleasant 
Valley, Iowa.
