A.M. COWIE Arizona, The Youngest State, 1913, pg 656 Dr. A.M. Cowie, a prominent and successful physician and surgeon of Kingman, was born in Canada and spent his early life in his native country. He acquired an excellent public school education and was afterward a student in McGill University at Montreal, graduating from the medical department of that institution with the degree of M.D. He came to Arizona in 1893 and settled in Kingman in the same year. He has since made his home in this city and in the intervening years has built up a practice which attests to the fact that he is recognized as one of the best informed and most capable physicians in his part of the country. He has always been a close student of his profession and his success further lies in his ability to apply his knowledge correctly to the needs of his patients.
