HARRY B. MOIR History of Arizona Page 48 Dr. Harry B. Moir enjoys a large and renumerative dental practice in Kingman where he located in 1927 and has shown himself well worthy of the confidence of the public. He was born in Weatherford, Oklahoma on August 18, 1901 is the only chlid born to Dr. John G. and lucy (Roos) Moir. His father who was a physician has been engaged in the active practice of his profession at Deming Nw Mexico since 1906. Harry B. Moir attended the public schools of Canada, graduating from grammar school at Preston,Ontario. He then entered Galt Collegiate Institute (three years high school ( the Universit yof Toronto, in which he took two years of medical study and a one year dental course in the Royal College of Dental Surgery. He completed his preparation by five years study in the dental schol of the University of Southern California, from wihch he graduated with the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. In 1927 he came to Kingman and is now numbered among the leading professional men of this community. Dr. Moir was united in marriage to Edith Carrow, a daughter of Edward and Maud Carrow, the former of whom is an old and well known cattleman of Kingman and Crozier. Her mother was one of the early and honored school teachers of this district. To Dr. and Mrs. Moir have been born two children, Lucy Lee and John Arrow. The doctor is a member of the California Alumni Society, the Delta Sigma Delta college fraternity and the Elks, also the Kingman Rotary Club and the Chamber of Commerce.
