DAVIS DALETORY Arizona Republican Newspaper April 26, 1909 A quarrel over union labor troubles between W.P. Byrne, a miner and Davis Daletory, president of the local Western Federation of Miners resulted in the death of the latter last night in Kingman. The men had been on unfriendly terms since the recent labor troubles at the Tom Reed Mining Camp. Byrne, it is alleged, waylaid Daletory and beat him to death with a revolver. The murderer was brought here for safe keeping. There are threats of lynching.
