THORWALD LARSON For over a quarter of a century Thorwald larson has been engaged in the practice of law in Holbrok, during which period he has not only enjoyed a large and lucrative practice but has also risen steadily in public esteem. He was born in Utah in 1871 and is a son of George and Hannah (Thompson) Larson, who went to that state in 1863, resided there for many years and at length retired and moved to Phoenix. Mr. Larson attended the public schools of Utah, completing his classical education in Salt Lake Seminary and the University of Utah. In 1889 he entered the railway mail service, which line of work he followed for ten years. In the meantime he had devoted his spare time to the study of law and on examination was admitted to the bar of his native state. He practiced there until 1902 when he went to Yuma where he spent a year. In April 1903 Mr. Larson came to Holbrook where he has since been actively engaged in professional work. In 1897 Mr. Larson was married to Mary Evarts of Salisbury, Vermont. He is a stanch democrat in his political views and has maintained a good citizen's interest in public affairs. Cordial and affable in manner and sincere in all of his relations with his fellowmen he has honored his profession by able and honorable services and commands the uniform respect of all who know him.
