MANUEL AGUILAR JR Arizona Republican Newspaper September 8, 1909 While getting out of a buggy to find shelter from the rain, Manuel Aguilar Jr. was struck by lightening at Tucson Monday and he was paralyzed, while his father and brother were both severely shocked. The family were in a double seated conveyance going to a neighbors. Aguilar was struck on the nose and his clothes were entirely burned off. He never knew what struck him and died instantly.
