CARLO BRAGGS January 30, 1897 Carlo braggs better known in Tucson as "Fisherman joe" died Thursday morning at 8 o'clcok. He had been confined to his bed for the past month as a result of an abcess on his lungs. The deceased was an old timer in Tucson and was widely known. He possessed many good traits of character which won him a large number of friends. He was born in Milan, Italy in 1844 and was one of the earliest volunteers who fought with Garibaldi in 1859. The funeral will take place on Pennington Street this afternoon at 2:00.
