JUSTA CARILLO August 4, 1895 Arizona Republican Newspaper Tucson--Justa Carillo, a well known resident of Tucson, rode out to his ranch this morning, five miles east of town, to give instructions to his workmen. Jesus Gutierras, an employee met him and without warning fired both barrels of buckshot into his right side, killing him instantly and then rode to Sonora. Offers are in pursuit. It is a case of jealousy of supposed attentions of Carrillo to Gutierras' wife.
