A.J. HALBERT February 13, 1898 Jack Halbert died this evening of pneumonia. The deceased had been sheriff and supervisor of Maricopa County, a member of the normal school trustees, postmaster at Tempe and Clerk of the District Court of this judicial district under the last administration. He leaves a wife and two children. February 14, 1898 The funeral of the late A.J. Halbert of Tucson will take place at Tempe at 2 o'clock this afternon from the residenc3e of his son in law,Albert Miller. The body will be brought to tempe this morning.
