TULLY LONG Arizona Republican Newspaper apirl 27, 1897 Day before yesterday says the Tucson Citizen, Mrs. S.R. Long received from her husband, Hon. s.R. Long, a telegram containing the sad news that their son Tully had met his death by falling from Dos Cabezas Peak and yesterday she received a letter stating that. Tully started out on Monday morning unknown to his friends, to scale the peak and when he did not return to camp that night, his father became anxious about him and sent out a searching party to look him up. The party searched all day and night Tuesday, without siccess but on Wednesday their efforts were rewarded and they found him. He had fallen a distance of 100 feet, his head striking a stone which must have killed him instantly. The remians were buried on Wednesday afternoon. He was just 20 years of age and a fine young man.
